About the Author/illustrator
Name: Olivia Smith
age: 20
Sex: female
location: In a valley in California. Which city? I don't
want to say because I don't want stalkers :B
I am a college student and a freelance artist who wears hoop
earrings so I can look my age. I'm a nice
person and I like laughing at stupid stuff.
I found an interest in drawing and story telling
at age 4 from going to the Libraries in the Bay Area
(near San Francisco) and looking at children's books.
I like:
hanging out with family/friends/random people.
I like drawing, keeping my life simple, making people smile,
playing video games(when I get the chance),
crocheting, brimmed hats, old fashion stuff, boyish stuff, elegance,
Vintage stuff, Endorphins,
nature, pianos, being active, solitude,
studying horoscopes, and dreams.
I hate:
stereotypes, Ignorant people, sleep paralysis,
buzz kills, solitude, bad news, evil, little/no
inspiration, paranoia and wasting time.
How did Animosity Sonata come about?
It was a combination of old notes that I've collected over
the years and other stuff. I was 17 and I was trying
to find inspiration on what picture I should
draw next for my art class. I was looking through an art
book that had art pieces from the 1400's. I found a piece called
"The Arnolfini Marriage"
and I really liked the guy's hat, so that's how
the idea of Eddy generated in my head.
The idea of Sadey is an over exaggerated reflection of
how I saw myself when I was younger. The rest of the
story came from a mixture of my piano lessons, playing
cards, and getting pissed off at my first job. All these
ideas generated when I was 17. I finished book one, but
wasn't satisfied so I did book one over again. So here I am
now and I'm still pushing^^
